Bowman Consulting in Fort Washington, PA is seeking a Traffic/Transportation Intern to support traffic impact studies, roadway plans, field views, and safety studies. You will work under supervision on CAD drafting, design tasks, and construction administration activities.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in civil engineering programs, at least 18 years old, and eager to learn. The internship offers mentorship, cross-department exposure, and a pay range of $20–$25/hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be enrolled in college or continuing education program.
• Civil engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project scope including site grading, erosion and sediment control design, CAD design and drafting, storm water management design.
• Assist with field inspections.
• Be involved with construction administration (RFI/Submittal) responsibilities.

Education
