CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team. You will work with a dynamic group of engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, focusing on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD drafting.

This internship or co‑op involves researching transportation data, performing calculations under supervision, proofreading reports, and supporting staff on various projects and field assignments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Willingness to perform engineering calculations and analyses under supervision.
• Strong interest in roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD drafting.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile transportation data for studies.
• Perform routine engineering calculations and analyses under supervision.
• Proofread and copy technical and non-technical reports and specifications.
• Assist staff with various projects and field assignments.

Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
