Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. seeks full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to keep highways safe and open. You will work outdoors, operate equipment, perform debris removal, and support emergency response to protect the traveling public.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and operate hand tools safely.
• Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications.
• Experience with equipment operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement with asphalt and concrete materials.
• Clean ditches, culverts, and drainage systems to prevent flooding.
• Set up traffic control devices and manage work zones.
• Respond to vehicle accidents, severe weather, and winter operations.
