Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians to perform highway maintenance in the Jacksonville, FL area. Work as part of a team and be flexible for on-call and night shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, background checks, knowledge of driving regulations, and ability to use smartphones. Compensation includes base pay, bonuses, and extensive training with full benefits.

Position Summary:

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians to perform maintenance operations in the Jacksonville, FL area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Work as a part of a team performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance. MUST be flexible and able to work on-call and nights when necessary.

Highway Maintenance Tasks Include, But Not Limited To

• Road Patrol
• Lighting repair
• Sign repair
• Guardrail repair
• Heavy equipment operations
• Licensed herbicide applicators
• Incident response

Preferred Experience

• Roadway maintenance or construction experience
• MOT Certifications

Clean Driving Record Is Essential

Must pass criminal background check

Schedule:

Full time, Must be flexible and available to work on-call when required.

Salary:

$17.00/hr+ depending on experience.
