Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. seeks full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join a hands-on outdoor team that maintains highways, drainage systems, signs, and safety devices.

You’ll work with a crew on active roadways, responding to incidents and emergencies while adhering to MOT safety standards. Experience in highway maintenance or related skilled labor is preferred; CDL, MOT/traffic control certifications, and equipment operation skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Comfort with operating outdoor equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work in high-traffic roadside environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways and roadways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and safety devices; repair potholes and pavement.
• Maintain drainage systems, perform vegetation management, and assist with snow/ice removal.
