Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join our outdoor maintenance team. You will work on highways and roadways, performing hands-on tasks to keep infrastructure safe and operational.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, managing drainage, repairing pavements, installing safety devices, and responding to emergencies. Night and weekend coverage may be required, along with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Outdoors, hands-on role maintaining highways and related infrastructure.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Experience with roadway maintenance and traffic control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement using asphalt and concrete materials.
• Clean drainage systems and manage vegetation along rights-of-way.
• Set up traffic control devices and respond to road emergencies.
