Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the CT Operations team in planning, coordinating, and delivering roadway safety and pavement marking projects across the region. You will focus on project coordination, documentation, scheduling, and financial tracking to keep projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager or similar coordination role.
• Bachelor’s degree required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in construction, civil, or roadway operations environments.
• Hands-on project management experience including scheduling and document control.
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.
• Strong administrative and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and daily work plans for roadway safety and pavement marking projects.
• Maintain organized project files and manage information flow across teams, including RFIs, change orders, and other records.
• Assist with building and monitoring project schedules to align with milestones.
• Use project management and scheduling software to track progress and timelines.
• Analyze project data to identify issues and suggest improvements.
• Assist with financial tracking, estimates, invoicing, and Sage-based records.
• Support financial reporting and use of tools like Sage to maintain project records.
• Perform administrative tasks to keep projects organized and updated.
• Support project closeout activities with final reporting and archiving.
• Communicate progress and updates to the Project Manager and team members.
• Collaborate with field operations to align schedules and resources with on-site work.
• Contribute to process improvements and better documentation.
