Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Roadway Project Engineer to join our Atlanta, GA team. You will design plan sets for urban streets, highways, bridges, and interchanges, delivering infrastructure solutions for communities.

Requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years of roadway design, and a PE registration. Bentley OpenRoads Designer experience, and GDOT drainage knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited engineering program.
• 5+ years of roadway design experience.
• Registered PE.
• Experience with GDOT policies and procedures a plus.
• Experience with roadway drainage design a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in project scope, budget and schedule development.
• Supports PM providing technical knowledge on various projects.
• Prepares and reviews engineering specifications, documents, drawings, etc. to produce various deliverables.
• Mentors and reviews work of technicians and more junior staff.
• Collaborate with project team members, client representatives, and review agencies to help resolve challenges.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, as appropriate.
• Conducts on-site visits, as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as requested.
