Job summary

You will contribute to technical design and plan-set preparation while coordinating with clients and review agencies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years of roadway design experience, and a PE license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of roadway design experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads Designer a plus.
  • Experience with GDOT policies and procedures a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in project scope, budget and schedule development.
  • Supports PM providing technical knowledge on various projects.
  • Prepares and reviews engineering specifications, documents, drawings, etc. to produce various deliverables.
  • Mentors and reviews work of technicians and more junior staff.
  • Collaborate with project team members, client representatives, and review agencies to help resolve challenges.
  • Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, as appropriate.
  • Conducts on-site visits, as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
