Job summary

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) invites applications for a full-time Engineer II position in Torrington, Wyoming. The incumbent will manage highway projects from inception through design, construction, and contract completion under the direction of the Resident Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• EIT or FE license required or in progress.
• Experience with highway design/construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Issue, review, and revise plan sets.
• Inspect and ensure project work meets plans, specs, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders daily.
• Prepare reports, estimates, and project documentation.
• Conduct field inspections and testing as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to staff.
