Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance tasks and related duties under supervision. Training will be provided for Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance.

Duties include clearing culverts, mowing, patching pavements, and assisting in storm cleanup. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to work at night and in adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work night shifts.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts and maintain drainage.
• Mow and clear brush from roadsides.
• Patch pavement and shoulders as needed.
• Assist in storm cleanup and emergency response.
• Repair fences and signs; remove litter and debris.
• Operate equipment used in highway maintenance and use hand and power tools.
