Job summary

State of Ohio in Delaware, OH is seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker to support the Transportation - District 06. The role involves maintaining roads, performing flagging, pothole repair, guardrail work, litter pickup and snow/ice operations, with duties aligning to public safety and road conditions.

Eligibility includes a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement (no airbrake restriction). The position is full-time, on-site, with overtime eligibility and a probationary period for new hires.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
• Formal education in arithmetic and ability to read/write/speak English vocabulary as applicable to Highway Maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
• You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.
• You will perform snow & ice operations.
