Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance tasks under supervision, including culvert work, mowing, patching pavements, and storm cleanup.

Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with clean record, and be able to work in adverse weather. DCS offers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
