Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education typically acquired through completion of high school.
• Must meet CDL requirements within 12 months of hire and possess CDL A with N or X endorsement as applicable.
• Possession of a Commercial Learner’s Permit at hire; ability to obtain CDL Group A with endorsements within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on State trunk lines within the right of way and roadside parks/rest areas.
• Operate equipment for pruning, spraying, planting, and bridge/culvert maintenance.
• Assist electricians with energized traffic devices and winter snow/ice duties.
• Possess CDL and meet safety and regulatory requirements for field operations.
