Job summary

State of Ohio Transportation - District 09 in Hillsboro, Ohio is seeking a full-time highway maintenance worker. You will serve the public by keeping roads safe, performing duties such as flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repair, litter pickup, mowing, and snow and ice operations.

This overtime-eligible position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement and basic arithmetic literacy; probation applies for new hires per OCSEA contract.

Qualifications

• Formal arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, decimals, percentages and fractions.
• Ability to read, write and speak common English.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement; airbrake restriction not allowed.
