Job summary

State of Ohio's Transportation - District 06 is hiring for a full-time Highway Maintenance role in Delaware, OH. You will maintain roads, perform flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repairs, litter pickup, and mowing, plus snow and ice operations.

The position is from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime eligibility and a strict background check process. Salary is $21.48 to $22.29 per hour, with a probationary period and union OCSEA involvement.

Qualifications

• Highway maintenance skills including flagging, patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing, snow & ice operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance activities to keep Ohio roads safe.
• Render snow and ice operations as needed.
