Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• For Highway Maintenance Worker/Senior, Class A or B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements required within 60 days.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation or farming background preferred.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and pesticide applicator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and light equipment to complete highway maintenance work.
• Operate tractors with attachments (disc, harrows, seeders, mowers) for right of way maintenance.
• Perform snow removal and traffic control per safety procedures.
• Repair signs, perform basic repairs, and manage yard/building upkeep.
• Provide safety-focused daily maintenance and equipment repair.
• Assist with herbicide spraying and CDL-related duties as assigned.
