Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• CDL with tanker endorsement and interstate status must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of work simulation and medical-physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints and potholes, flagging, traffic control, and debris removal.
• Maintains highway facilities: repairs signs, guardrails, cleaners and painting of buildings and equipment.
• Operates vehicles and equipment to transport personnel and materials, plow snow, spread ice, and manage right-of-way mowing.
• May repair bridge decks, drains, install signs, and maintain sign posts and related structures.
