Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Passing grade on the written portion of the CDL exam is required prior to hire; tanker endorsement and single-state/in interstate status within 60 days after hiring.
• Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints and potholes, traffic control devices, and debris removal.
• Maintains and repairs state highway facilities, signs, guardrails, and buildings.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel and materials, plow snow, and spread ice control materials.
• May repair bridge decks, drains, and signs; install and maintain sign posts.
