Job summary

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience with highway construction/maintenance equipment.
• Valid Minnesota Class A CDL without restrictions; tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment including single axle and tandem trucks, pavers, graders, and related machinery.
• Plows and applies ice control materials to County roads for safety.
• Installs and repairs bridges, culverts, fences, guard rails, and snow fences.
• Cuts brush, shovels fill material and patches road surfaces as needed.
• Follows preventive maintenance and basic repairs to equipment; reports issues.
