Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required. Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six (6) months of placement in the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain medium-duty equipment such as tandem dump trucks, skid steer loaders, aggregate spreaders, self-propelled belt loaders and combination tractors with side-mounted mowers.
• Patching potholes, drainage work, shoulder repairs, and other roadway maintenance duties; control traffic to protect workers and the public.
