Job summary

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• 1 year experience recommended for Tech II; experience in transportation maintenance/inspection or related work may be substituted.
• Commercial Driver's License Class A with N endorsement or ability to obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine roadway maintenance and repair, operate light and heavy equipment, and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with traffic control, sign installation, and handling emergency situations.
• Maintain highways and rights-of-way, install/repair guard rails and signs, and haul materials to job sites.
• Move litter and debris; participate in project inspection and vehicle maintenance.
