Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance services and related tasks under supervision. Training will cover Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance across multiple sites in the United States.

Responsibilities include culvert work, mowing, patching pavements, storm cleanup, fence/sign repair, litter removal, emergency response, and operating highway maintenance equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift moderately heavy objects.
• Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time.
• Accurate eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations with work plans and work schedules due to workload or season.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mow and clear brush from roadsides.
• Patch broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter and debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
