Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CDL written exam passed and tanker endorsement; interstate status within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of a work simulation and a medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highways: fill joints, patch potholes, direct traffic and install signs.
• Maintain facilities: repair signs/guardrails, clean gutters, paint buildings and service equipment.
• Operate vehicles and equipment: plow snow, spread ice, mow, backhoe, forklift.
• May repair bridges and install large signs, pour sign footings, weld and maintain sign posts.
