Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CDL written exam with tanker endorsement; driving portion with EI/NI status within 60 days.
• Medical-physical and work simulation examinations required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems, patch potholes, and direct traffic using signs and cones.
• Repair signs, guardrails, curbs, and paint facilities and equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel and materials, plow snow, and spread ice control materials.
• Mow right of way, operate tractors and heavy equipment; may repair bridges and install signs.
