Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems: patch potholes, crack filling, and traffic control.
• Maintain, clean, and repair highway facilities and signs; paint buildings and equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel and materials; plow snow and spread ice control materials.
• May repair bridges, drains, and clean bridge components at height using ladders or scaffolding.
• May install signs and repair/maintain sign posts and related infrastructure.
