Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints and cracks, patching potholes, flagging and directing traffic, and setting up traffic control devices.
• Maintains highway facilities: signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, and equipment; services machinery.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel and materials, plow snow and spread ice control materials; uses various trucks and machinery.
• May repair bridge decks and drains; may install signs and maintain sign structures.
