Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Pass CDL written exam with tanker endorsement; pass driving portion without air brake restrictions within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems: fill joints/cracks, patch potholes, traffic control, load/unload materials, clear debris.
• Maintain, repair, and clean state highway facilities and signage; service equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel/equipment; snow plowing and ice control; mowing and use of heavy machinery.
• Assist with bridge decks/drains and sign installations; perform at heights with ladders/scaffolding.
