Oregon Department of Transportation, Delivery and Operations Division – Region 4, seeks a Transportation Maintenance Specialist 2 for the Brothers maintenance crew. This limited-duration role operates snowplows and other equipment to keep roads safe and handles pothole repairs and drainage maintenance at 34400 E. Highway 20, Brothers, OR.

On-site housing may be available. Expect to assist with weather-related emergencies, perform light maintenance, and respond to after-hours calls as needed.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of highway maintenance experience or 2 years in related trades.
• CDL-A with tanker endorsement OR ability to obtain CLP and CDL-A with tanker endorsement within specified timelines.

Mansioni

• Operate weather-related equipment and snowplows to clear roadways.
• Perform pothole repair, concrete patching, and general maintenance.
• Maintain fences, guardrails, drainage, and vegetation along roadways.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with cleanups as needed.
• May require after-hours availability for emergencies.
