Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tandem dump trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Perform roadway maintenance such as pothole repair, drainage work, and paving driveways.
• Flag traffic to protect workers and the public during road repairs.
• Respond to emergencies and be available 24 hours when on-call.
• Assist in equipment operation including backhoe, excavator, and loader.
