Zusammenfassung

The State of South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a Crew Leader to perform a range of highway maintenance tasks. You will supervise and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly record-keeping, and operate equipment including mower, dump truck, and front-end loader on highway right of ways.

The role requires two years of related experience or an approved equivalence, with a Class A CDL to be obtained within six months.

Qualifikationen

• Two (2) years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months of placement.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Aufgaben

• Lead crew in maintenance tasks and manage daily/weekly/monthly records.
• Operate 10 ft and 15 ft bat wing mower on shoulders, slopes, and right of ways.
• Haul and load materials with dump trucks and front-end loaders.
• Assist in construction and maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and islands with concrete work.
• Remove debris and ensure safety around roadways; assist during inclement weather.
