Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience or equivalent.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license; Class A CDL within six months of placement.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• May require extended or 12-hour shifts during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (paint truck, backhoe, skid steer, motor grader, etc.) to paint roadways and maintain right-of-way.
• Support winter operations with salt brine equipment, snow plows, and sand spreaders.
• Coordinate traffic control setup and ensure maintenance work zones meet safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used, using standard forms and systems.
• Perform safety inspections and monitor preventive maintenance of equipment.
