Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to learn and operate a single-axle truck, tractor and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass using large tractors and gang mowers.
• Perform landscape maintenance and tree cutting along right-of-ways.
• Operate dump trucks hauling materials for road work.
• Use power tools and hand tools to repair highways and related infrastructure.
• Load and unload materials and assist with setting up traffic controls.
