Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English to interact with the public and complete records.
• Experience operating a truck, tractor or heavy equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a Class A CDL within timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass and weeds with tractors and gang mowers on highways.
• Operate single-axle dump trucks and load materials for construction or maintenance.
• Use power equipment and hand tools to repair highways.
• Flag traffic and assist with setting up signs and cones for work zones.
• Respond to emergencies and snow/ice removal operations as needed.
