Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation, a nationally recognized leader in heavy civil construction, is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee roadway-related field activities. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, quality control, and on-schedule delivery across highways, bridges, and related infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include planning with the Superintendent, managing crews and equipment, and leading daily safety briefings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman in roadway construction.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and lead safety culture on site.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily activities with Superintendent.
• Oversee time sheets for labor and equipment; ensure accurate daily reports.
• Monitor crew productivity and provide guidance to meet daily goals.
• Enforce quality control and safety across all work phases.
• Track construction schedule and keep tasks on time and within scope.
• Lead daily huddles and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness.
• Perform job hazard analyses before starting new activities.
• Collaborate with Superintendent to develop material handling plans.
• Ensure timely submission of delivery receipts to field engineers.
