Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation Foreman role focuses on directing field planning, coordination, and production of roadway construction activities under the Superintendent. Safety, quality control, and on-schedule delivery are core priorities.

Responsibilities include planning daily work with the Superintendent, managing timesheets, monitoring crew productivity, enforcing QC, leading toolbox talks, performing hazard analyses, and ensuring timely submission of delivery receipts and records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Foreman in roadway construction.
• Knowledge of calculating and setting grades and operating roadway construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Familiarity with construction project management processes.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety policies and promote safety as a core value.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work with the Superintendent.
• Oversee timesheets for labor and equipment and submit daily reports.
• Monitor crew productivity and provide guidance to meet daily goals.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety policies across all phases.
• Track the project schedule and keep tasks on time and in scope.
• Lead daily team huddles and safety toolbox talks.
• Perform job hazard analyses before starting activities.
• Collaborate on material handling plans to support workflow.
• Collect and submit delivery receipts to field engineers.
