Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking Equipment Operators to perform skilled equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and manual labor in roadway maintenance across job sites in Virginia.

The role includes using backhoes, dump trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment, plus flagging traffic and setting up work zones. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, a Class B CDL, a valid DOT medical card, and the ability to obtain a Flagging Certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• DOT medical card required and Class B CDL at minimum.
• Ability to obtain Flagging Certification within 60 days of employment.
• Experience with highway maintenance equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (backhoe, dump truck, loader, etc.) for roadway maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manual labor tasks.
• Flag traffic and set up work zones and traffic control.
• Patch potholes, cut brush, and clear debris in various conditions.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
