Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking Equipment Operators to perform a combination of skilled equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and manual labor in roadway maintenance, including flagging traffic and setting up work zones along interstate highways.

The role requires knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, ability to lift heavy loads, read and follow instructions, and communicate effectively. A Class B CDL, a DOT medical card, and flagging certification within 60 days are required; a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or demonstrated equivalent experience or training.
• Must have a DOT medical card.
• Class B CDL required.
• Ability to obtain Flagging Certification within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, materials methods, and procedures.
• Able to perform heavy manual labor (carry 50 pounds 50 yards).
• Able to read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Skilled in the operation and maintenance of light, medium and heavy-duty equipment used for highway maintenance and repair.
• Any other duties as assigned by a supervisor and/or USF Senior Project Manager.
