Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking Equipment Operators to perform a combination of skilled equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and manual labor tasks in roadway maintenance.

This role includes operating backhoes, dump trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment, plus flagging traffic and setting up work zones. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, a DOT medical card, a Class B CDL, and the ability to obtain a Flagging Certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• DOT medical card is required.
• Class B CDL at minimum.
• Ability to obtain Flagging Certification within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, materials methods, and procedures.
• Able to perform heavy manual labor (carry 50 pounds 50 yards).
• Able to read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Skilled in the operation and maintenance of light, medium and heavy-duty equipment used for highway maintenance and repair.
• Any other duties as assigned by a supervisor and/or USF Senior Project Manager.
