Job summary

Operate equipment involved in the maintenance and construction of County roads and city projects. You will operate truck or light equipment and perform road maintenance or construction duties while operating equipment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of related experience; an additional four years may substitute for the diploma. A current Class C license is required on hire, and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is required within eight

Responsibilities

• Operates and/or drives truck or light equipment
• Performs road maintenance or construction related duties while operating equipment
• May transport equipment and supplies
• Controls traffic flow at work site
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment or trucks and reports needed repairs
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
