Zusammenfassung

Tarrant County is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate equipment used in the maintenance and construction of county roads and city projects. You will drive truck or light equipment and perform related duties at work sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; a Class C license is required on hire and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within 8 months. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds and exposure to extreme heat/cold.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• An additional 4 years of related experience may substitute for a high school diploma.
• A current and valid Class C driver license is required upon hire.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is required within eight (8) months of hire.

• Operates and/or drives truck or light equipment.
• Performs road maintenance or construction related duties while operating equipment.
• May transport equipment and supplies.
• Controls traffic flow at work site.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment or trucks and reports needed repairs.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
