Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience or approved equivalent.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operates medium duty equipment such as a tandem dump truck hauling materials to and from job sites.
• Operates medium duty equipment such as a belt loader.
• Operates small equipment such as a pipe washer, trailer mounted.
• Flags traffic to ensure safety of co-workers, traveling public, and equipment.
• Removes litter and dead animals from the right-of-way.
• Assists with emergency and inclement weather operations; may include extended hours and/or 12 hour shifts.
