Qualifications

• Completion of prior coursework in transportation or structural engineering.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in and ability to work on multiple roadway and highway projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative solutions for roadway engineering challenges.
• Ensure designs comply with Federal, State, and local requirements and industry practices.
• Prepare specifications, estimates, quantity calculations, and technical analyses.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and conduct bid analyses.
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and construction documents.
• Contribute as part of a project or organizational design team.
