Job summary

CME Associates in Nashville is seeking a Roadway Design Project Manager to lead and mentor junior design staff on signature projects. The role offers growth toward PM responsibilities and requires coordinating with project teams to meet schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in roadway design, supervisory experience, and proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and standard software. A hybrid work schedule is available with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in roadway design.
• Experience with supervising or people management.
• PE Certification preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior staff while managing multiple roadway design tasks.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirements.
• Opportunity to be mentored and progress to Project Manager responsibilities.
• Prepare accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents.
• Prepare permit applications and submittal packages to agencies with jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utilities, contractors and others on the project.
• Develop and adhere to project scope, schedules, and budgets.
