Mott MacDonald seeks a dynamic Transportation Design Engineer to join our Florida market. You will provide roadway design support, manage internal task progress, and help shape project strategies while mentoring junior staff.

You will develop drawings, engage clients, and coordinate with teams to deliver safe, efficient roadways. The role emphasizes corridor modeling, detailing, and cost estimation across roundabouts, bike facilities, signing/striping, signals, and traffic plans, with a hybrid

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Florida PE registration or E.I. with ability to obtain PE.
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience with roadway design background.
• Experience with corridor modeling, project detailing, notes, plans, quantities, and cost estimation for transportation projects.
• Experience preparing typical sections, pavement design packages, reports and plans using highway design manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Develop accurate contract drawings on schedule and within budget to meet client needs.
• Assist Lead Roadway Designer with client interaction, scope/fee development, and business development tasks.
• Collaborate with internal and external project teams.
• Take initiative on additional responsibilities and career development.
