Merrick & Company seeks a Senior Roadway/Transportation Engineer to lead highway and roadway design projects. The role requires 10+ years in highway/roadway design and project management, and Florida PE license, with strong client relationship abilities.

As Transportation Project Manager, you will supervise staff, recruit talent, and drive growth for our transportation group, including FDOT project delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 10+ years as Transportation/Roadway Engineer/Project Manager.
• Florida PE License.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, GEOPAK, GuideSIGN, AutoTURN.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (3D modeling).
• Familiarity with FDOT design project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing transportation staff and projects.
• Recruit key talent aligned with culture.
• Lead sales/marketing initiatives for growth of transportation design services.
• Pursue and win work as prime or subconsultant.
• Manage client communications and expectations.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate and produce proposals and presentations.
