Qualifications

• One year of experience as Technical Assistant or equivalent Federal/Commonwealth job title.
• One year of experience in analysis of data used for planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment.
• An Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or related field.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants may meet educational requirements within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Responsibilities

• Payroll and data review: examine foreman payrolls, track production information, monitor material and equipment usage, resolve inaccuracies.
• Inventory oversight: support inventory control by reviewing stockpiles, maintaining records, and checking storeroom quantities for accuracy.
• Procurement support: prepare bid packages, process purchase orders, review bids, coordinate vendor information, and track rented equipment agreements.
• Reimbursable activities: prepare and process documents, track damages, create notifications and work orders, and complete billing requirements.
• Technology and reporting: assist with IT equipment issues, update inventories, prepare reports, and help staff with software use.
• Program coordination: manage Adopt A Highway, emergency contact updates, claim documentation, permit coordination, and customer concerns.
