• One year as an Engineering Technician or two years as a Transportation Technician or Construction Cost Technician 1.
• One year of construction inspection experience with an associate's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Apply regulations and standards to evaluate permit applications and field work.
• Plan Review: Interpret construction plans and identify when additional input is needed.
• Field Inspection: Conduct on-site checks of permitted work for safety and compliance.
