Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Peachtree Corners, GA office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our Roadway team. You will develop detailed roadway designs, prepare cost estimates, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design teams, selecting materials, producing alignment and geometry for roads, and supporting construction with reviews and field observations. A PE license or progress toward it is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, roadway design standards and traffic engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed roadway designs and project plans.
• Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates for roadway projects.
• Select materials and prepare road construction specifications.
• Create alignments and geometric designs for roads and intersections.
• Coordinate with authorities for permits and approvals.
• Provide technical support during construction and review of plans.
