STV Incorporated is seeking Construction Inspectors in the Asheville, NC area to support and grow the CEI practice for transportation projects statewide. The role involves leading through example, mentoring junior staff, and working nights/weekends as needed. Travel to project sites and a strong safety focus are required.

Ideal candidates will have CEI experience, NCDOT certifications, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CEI experience.
• NCDOT certifications or ability to acquire them within 6 months of starting.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction inspection activities on highway and bridge projects.
• Monitor contractor compliance with plans and specifications; enforce safety.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and conduct on-site material testing/sampling.
• Read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications; communicate with staff and clients.
